Understanding your neurodivergent child

Every behaviour has a story.

Children don't wake up thinking 'How can I make today difficult?' They do the best they can with the skills, energy and nervous system they have in that moment. When behaviour changes, curiosity is more useful than judgement.

Instead of 'How do I stop this behaviour?' try 'What is my child experiencing right now?' Understanding doesn't mean accepting everything — it means knowing where to begin.

Curiosity changes everything.
