ADHD
What is ADHD?
ADHD is more than attention.
ADHD is often described as a disorder of attention — but that only tells part of the story. It is better understood as a different way of regulating attention, motivation, emotions and energy.
Sometimes attention is impossible to hold; other times almost impossible to leave. That is why ADHD can look inconsistent from the outside, yet make perfect sense from the inside. Understanding it starts by looking beyond behaviour and getting curious about what is happening underneath.
